I love an amazing drugstore mascara that gives me length and volume. I am not a false lash kind of girl, but, I do love dramatic lashes. I recently picked up the new L’Oreal Unlimited mascara, and will be sharing my thoughts, as well as before and after photos with you today.
What The L’Oreal Unlimited Mascara Claims:
- Instant lash-lift effect
- Waterproof formula
- Lasts up to 24H
- No clumps
- No flaking
- No smudging
My Thoughts on the L’Oreal Unlimited Mascara:
Okay, so here’s the scoop. The packaging is very cool! I really love that the wand bends allowing me to push up my lashes from the root. Using the wand straight is amazing for giving my lashes length.
The formula isn’t watery which I really appreciate. It does dry rather fast, so I had to get my second coat on quickly to prevent clumping. As I applied my first coat, I was really impressed at how long it made my lashes look. The second coat was all I needed to achieve the look I was going for.
Throughout the day, I noticed a small amount of smudging on my under eye area which tends to get a little bit oily. I didn’t experience any clumping, or flaking.
This water-proof formula came off easily with some liquid eye makeup remover. Some water-proof mascara’s can actually take a lot of work to remove, even with the best remover.
I never stay in makeup for 24H, so I don’t know how true that claim is, however, this mascara lasted a good 10 hours.
I picked mine up from Ulta for $12.99. They always have a $3.50 off coupon which is awesome, and there is usually a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale on drugstore makeup! In this bottle you receive .26 oz of product.
Overall, I really like the L’Oreal Unlimited mascara. It made a nice difference in my lashes, the packaging is nice, and the wand is unique. My only complaint would be the price. I feel that the highest it should be is $9.99.
