Today I am going to be sharing a few teas that have been helping me out a lot with the postpartum process. Each tea helps with something different like, help boost breast milk supply, calm and soothe, help get your body going, and also giving energy without the caffeine which is perfect for sleepless nights.
Postpartum Teas That You Will Love
As a breastfeeding mom, I want to make as much milk as I can. After some research, I learned about foods that help increase breastmilk supply, but also tea. I came across the Pink Stork Lactation Tea on a trip to Target, but they were out of the mint flavor I wanted to try. I jumped right on Amazon, and ordered the Herbal Mint Nursing Tea on Prime for $12.
These teas come in 15 biodegradable pyramid satchets which makes 30 cups. It is recommended to drink 2-3 cups a day. I drink 2 cups, morning and evening, and have had a great milk supply thanks to the milk supporting herbs called galactagogues.
I love the taste! After reading some of the whole leaves and herb chunks that it contains, you might think it would taste weird or gross, but it is actually very smooth, and tasty. I’ve tried it both hot and cold, and love it either way.
Life with a newborn is very tiring. Caffeine isn’t the greatest for helping breastmilk supply, so I’ve been depending on this Sweet Hibiscus Organic Tea for a natural energy boost. This tea also helps support a healthy metabalism which is great for helping you get back into shape after pregnancy. The taste is very unique and delicious. Available on Amazon Prime for $12.
Sleep Support Tea
I can’t thank Coconut Lavender Organic Tea & Green Tea enough for helping me to relax at night. These teas are great for anyone in my opinion not just for labor recovery. I love the smell the lavender one gives off and the slight after taste of coconut. They have become must-haves in my postpartum night time routine. Buy on Amazon Prime for $12!
